These really are heavyweight. I can not put them in the dryer with other clothes. It makes the whole load take way too long to dry. They are thick! My husband very like the Gallery dept brand.Great because my husband doesn't wear them out. Horrible for the housewife. Good thing I have space because I wash them in with the other shirts of the family then just hang these to dry while the other shirts are in the dryer. By the time I am done with the other laundry I can just pop these in the dryer for a half hour and they are done. Or if I don't have time to get them in the dryer my husband will just wear them straight off the hanger when they are dry. He loves them.
